Originate was invited to explore the future of live music for Apple. Our job was to pitch and present an original app concept for Apple Live.
Outcome:
Our pitch was a semi finalist, and got Originate on the map at Apple.
Challenges
Digitally recreate the emotional journey found in traditional concerts and festivals
Design for all devices including, desktop, mobile, and tv
Problem
There is a massive demand for tickets for concerts and festivals around the world. Many leading concerts and festivals sell out within minutes after being announced, leaving millions of fans without an option to be there in person. In 2016, there were 20x more people who watched Coachella’s webcast than those who attended the event in person. The avg. time watched at 65 minutes.
