Originate was hired to redesign the homepage and navigation system for Blackrock.

BlackRock, Inc. is an American global investment management corporation based in New York City. Founded in 1988, initially as a risk management and fixed income institutional asset manager, BlackRock is one of the world's largest asset managers with $6.84 trillion in assets under management as of August 2019.

Problem:
Blackrock’s design language was outdated but was also very strict on color and typographic choices. Another problem was that their navigation, it was poorly design and visitors were having a difficult time knowing where to navigate and finding relevant information.

Our job was not to redefine their design language but it was to do the best we could within their branding constraints.

Outcome:
Blackrock had a refreshed look on their homepage, the information layout and structure was optimized, and their navigation was improved.
